February 14th, 2008 The 2008 Gatorade Duel's were a pair of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car races that were held on February 14, 2008 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Each race consisted of 60 laps and were the qualifying races for the 2008 Daytona 500. Two white Corvette Coupes were used. Both cars were used in the parade laps prior to each race. The starting field was broken up into two groups for the parade laps, then with one lap to go the second pace car would break out of the parade formation and pit as the field was brought into one group to take the green flag. Car 05 paraded and paced Duel #1. Car 06 paraded and paced Duel #2.
