Oil runs thru the veins here and have been a car guy since I was a young teen where dad and me built up a hot rod Camaro in a California garage. Fast forward to 2006, my daughter was 5 years old and I always thought “someday later” I will get the vett. “Sure can’t get one now, that’s not very responsible of me with a 5 year old”. The stars lined up when I met a car collector who wanted me to have it and made this 50th very inviting to buy. I found a way to make it work and enjoyed the heck out of this C5 “while” my daughter was growing up. Dad and me had special license plate frames made years ago for our Vett’s. His C6: “Were out spending our sons inheritance” My C5: “I’m not waiting for my inheritance” Today, we are living in North Carolina, meeting new friends, having fun on the lake and doing new activities with the Corvette. WELCOME Welcome to our club! You will find a group of people that share many common interests in addition to our Corvette’s. It’s meeting great like minded people in our club, sharing stories and good times that has been the joy for us….and yes….enjoying “the drive” I look forward to meeting everyone someday and having new exciting adventures with you all. As your new Membership Director, please reach out if you need any assistance or simply have a question. Drive ON! Ross Philips |
